We take the protection of your personal data seriously. Below we explain which data we process when you visit our website, what we use it for and which rights you have. The relevant laws are the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).

We process personal data only insofar as this is necessary to provide this website, to answer your enquiries or on the basis of your consent. The legal bases are in particular:
This website is operated by an external hosting provider on servers in Germany under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). When you visit the website, technically necessary data is processed: IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer URL, browser and operating system. This is done to deliver the website securely and reliably (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Log files are kept only as long as necessary for these purposes.
To protect against attacks and to deliver the site faster, we use the content delivery network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Connection data (including IP address) is routed via Cloudflare servers. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, performant website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
The website runs on WordPress on our own server. The fonts used (Archivo, Inter) are hosted locally; no connection to Google or any other provider is established when a page is loaded. When logging in to the administration area, technically necessary cookies are set for editors only, not for visitors.
On your first visit we ask you in a notice whether you agree to statistics and marketing. You can choose “Accept all”, “Only necessary” or make your own selection. Without your consent, no statistics or marketing services become active. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time under Cookie settings.
We store in your browser’s local storage (localStorage):
These entries are technically required to manage your choice and your request (Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). They do not contain an identifier that personally identifies you.
We use Google Tag Manager provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Tag Manager manages script tags; it does not set cookies itself and does not collect personal data for analysis. It can, however, trigger other tags that collect data (see sections 8 and 9).
We use Google Consent Mode: until you give consent, all consent types (statistics, advertising) are set to “denied”. Only after you agree do the respective services become fully active. When Tag Manager is loaded, your IP address is transmitted to Google; transfer to the USA is possible (Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in controlling the services in a privacy-compliant way (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
With your consent to “statistics” we use Google Analytics 4 (provider: Google Ireland Limited). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to record how you use the website (e.g. pages viewed, time on page, approximate location, device type, events such as sending a request or clicking a phone number or email address). The IP address is shortened or not logged. The analysis serves to improve our offering. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, Section 25 (1) TDDDG). You can withdraw it at any time in the cookie settings. Data is deleted according to the retention periods set in Google Analytics (currently a maximum of 14 months).
Google Ads. With your consent to “marketing” we measure whether you send a request after clicking one of our ads on Google (conversion tracking) and can recognise visitors to our website in later searches (remarketing). The provider is Google Ireland Limited.
Meta Pixel. With your consent to “marketing” we use the Meta Pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland. It records which pages you view and whether you send a request, in order to measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram and to show suitable ads to visitors of our website. Data may be transferred to Meta in the USA (Meta is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). We and Meta are jointly responsible for evaluating the data under Art. 26 GDPR; Meta alone is responsible for any further processing by Meta.
The legal basis in each case is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, Section 25 (1) TDDDG). Without your consent these services do not become active. You can withdraw your consent at any time in the cookie settings.
Contact form. If you write to us via the contact form, we process your name, company, email address, optionally your phone number, the subject and your message as well as your consent. The message is sent to us by email and stored in our website system for processing. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or (f) GDPR (answering general enquiries).
Quote form (quote basket). If you send a request via our quote form, we process your first name, last name, company, city, email address, optionally your phone number, the selected products and your messages. The request is sent to us by email and stored in our website system for processing. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Optionally uploaded files (e.g. print data) are stored on our server in a non-public area, used only to process your request and deleted together with the request.
Abuse protection. To protect against automated requests, your IP address is used briefly (60 seconds) to limit repeated submissions (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Email, phone and WhatsApp. If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to handle your request. On some pages we link to a WhatsApp chat (wa.me). Only when you click it do you leave our website, and the processing is governed by the terms of WhatsApp Ireland Limited. Please note that unencrypted emails can be read by third parties.
Retention. We delete the data once it is no longer required for processing, at the latest after 12 months, if no contract is concluded and no statutory retention obligations (e.g. under commercial and tax law) apply.
A Google Maps map may be shown on our contact page (provider: Google Ireland Limited). The map is only loaded after your explicit consent by click. Only then is data such as your IP address transmitted to Google; transfer to the USA is possible (Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, Section 25 (1) TDDDG). You can withdraw it at any time in the cookie settings.
We link to our profiles on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. These are simple links, not embedded plug-ins: no data is transmitted to the networks unless you click the link. By clicking you leave our website; the respective provider is responsible for any further processing.
Your data is passed on only if this is necessary to process your request, we are legally obliged to do so or you have consented. Service providers (e.g. hosting, email delivery, website maintenance) process data only on our behalf under contracts pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Transfers to third countries take place only on the basis of an adequacy decision (e.g. EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or appropriate safeguards under Art. 46 GDPR.
We process and store your data only as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as statutory retention periods require. Once the purpose no longer applies or the period expires, the data is routinely blocked or deleted.
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.
For enquiries please contact info@rheinprintpack.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), e.g. the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf.
Providing the data marked with * in our forms is necessary for us to process your request; without it we cannot handle it. There is no automated decision-making, including profiling.
We update this privacy policy when our website, our services or the legal situation change. The version published here applies.
