The menu is a restaurant’s most important sales tool – and often the most underestimated. Every guest picks it up, it shapes their impression of the place and it influences what they order. With the right design and the right material, it becomes a silent salesperson.
The choice of paper depends on how long the menu will be in use. Uncoated or coated papers are fine for changing daily or seasonal menus, which can be reprinted quickly and economically. Permanent menus benefit from heavy board and a protective surface such as a lamination that copes better with splashes and frequent wiping. Textured natural papers, on the other hand, underline the character of wine bars, country inns or fine dining.
Menu, take-away packaging, napkins and placemats should speak the same language. That way your restaurant is recognised beyond its own four walls. You will find ideas in our article on take-away packaging.
Set up your menu with 3 mm bleed and supply it as a print-ready PDF/X with embedded fonts. We check your data free of charge before production.
